New Hats And My Hopey

My little sister is my whole world. Hopey is the reason I do everything I do. She's been a constant force in my life that continually shapes me into the best version of myself. Every decision I make and every thought I think is reflective of my deep enduring adoration of her.  She's my smile, my tears, my laughter, and my sorrow. She's my dreams, my disappointments, my work ethic, and my patience. I'm ever mindful of everything I'm able to do -- and all that limits her.

This line of clothing, as with everything else in my life, is about Hopey. The outdoors is something we both enjoy, and I take her and Maggie along with me wherever I go. Hopey loves horses, hiking, fishing, ATV's, and Kayaking. She's as much of an outdoor girl as I am. And Maggie is our companion dog. Maggie is our constant. We both need Maggie.

Hopey has had three open heart surgeries, a stomach surgery, and an eye surgery -- she still has an aneurysm in her heart and a leaking aortic valve. My family just learned a fourth open heart surgery is imminent. At some point in the near future, she'll need an aortic valve replacement, and that's going to be a very serious surgery for my little sis. As a result, I'm spending as much time as possible making memories with her. And I'm working hard so I can afford to give her whatever her heart desires.

I'm determined to use all of my accomplishments to honor Hopey's life and to honor the disabled community as a whole. My platform is that we're all much more alike than we are different -- and that what makes us different is actually what makes us most beautiful. My sister is a light to this world. She definitely makes the world a much better place.

I'm excited to announce that I've added hats to the CatcHER Outdoors and CatcHIM Outdoors Collections. Here's just a few -- check out my website to find the full lineup. When you support my endeavors, you support Hopey and others who are like her, including my little brother (Charlie) who also rocks an extra cool chromosome:

With much love and big hugs,
